Scandent specialises in delivering Change, General, Program and Project Management for companies, government departments and non-profit organisations on a short-term or interim basis.
The name and company logo reflect the Scandent way of doing business. "Scandent" stands for the Scanning & Development of Enterprises in order to achieve growth, development, or deliver improvements. And by enterprise we mean a total company, a division, a program, or even a project.
Scandent is also a term, meaning 'climbing', and this is reflected in our logo. This represents the ultimate goal of any Scandent undertaking for its customers - the achievement of clearly defined goals within an agreed time frame. These could be a steady growth in turnover, bottom-line results, market share, or employee or customer satisfaction. |
Company History
Scandent was founded in 1982 and can draw on 30 years of continuous experience. Of this some 70% is management as director, general manager, business-unit manager and program manager level with several major companies and government agencies. Other work includes Marketing & Sales, primarily in the IT industry, as well as numerous projects drawing on a background in Application Development in the 'Travel and Transport' industry.
The metaphor 'water' reflects the image of our services:
