HOW WE WORK OUR SERVICES CASES

HOW WE WORK

Our involvement always starts with an intake session to establish exactly what it is you want us to achieve. Then together we formulate the mandate for the task or role, and the conditions of the contract. We then begin the implementation of what needs to be done to achieve the agreed targets.

For ‘Change’, ‘General’ and ‘Program’ Management, we often advise our clients to start with a review phase. Here we analyse the Present Mode of Operation (PMO) situation, look at the mission, strategy, goals, organisational structure, and study the available business plans. We then discuss alternatives for a ‘way forward’, and set the Future Mode of Operation (FMO). During this phase we also discuss how Scandent can best contribute to achieving this FMO. Following the review phase, the actual management involvement of Scandent can start.

Our 'hands-on' approach to working is demonstrated by the fact that it is rare for Scandent to be involved solely as a consultant. In almost every case in which Scandent has been involved, the task covered the complete business 'chain' from consulting, through development, to implementation. In fact, implementation has always been the most important element of Scandent's involvement. Because of this, and the complex and important nature of these projects and goals, our involvement with our clients often spans periods of over six months, or a whole year.

Our desire to see and achieve improvements and results is, in fact, our raison d’être.
