Change Management
(case 2): Repositioning process
Business Consultant to a top-4 accountancy firm
Creation of a business plan to redefine and reposition the IT-Consultancy services provided by one of the top-4 accountancy firms. This business plan was needed because of a planned merger and the fact that the (merged) consultancy services were possibly going to be separated from the parent companies (in line with the debate centering on separating audit-activities from consultancy activities of accountancy firms). Our contacts were restricted to directors, partners, senior partners and business-unit leaders. A delay in the merger made continued involvement from our side impracticable. However, for a number of years, the business plan we had developed guided the firms activities in its future market niche.
